Some Useful Information:
When you report a abuse to the police, they will take a statement from you and see to it that you are taken to a safe place. They may also advise you go to the Courts and request a Protection Order, so that the abuser may not have contact with you... It is very important that if you get this Protection Order and the abuser does contact you in any way that you report this immediately to the Police so that they can take action.
In most cases where the victim chooses to take the abuser back, the abuse becomes more severe...
Remember, You are worth more than that and do not deserve to be abused! You are created in God's image and abuse is not God's will for your life.
If the abuse involves a child you will be directed to speak with someone at Child and Family Services.
If You are in need of Financial aid due to the seperation you may seek out financial assistance and also apply for Housing.
